STEP UP!!!

This was the challenge of FPD Track Coach Chris Wilson to the Viking teams at the 2004 State Track Meet at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany, GA.  The boys and girls teams heeded his call, as the girls maximized every scoring opportunity for a fourth place finish and the boys successfully defended their 2003 State Championship.

Coach Wilson says “Each individual meet of the entire we run like it’s the most important meet of the year.  We believe that pressure on our kids all year takes pressure away from them when the State Meet arrives and they are able to compete at a higher level.”
