Jacob Cardis named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist

Kristy Alvarez’s competitive nature has led to another undertaking at First Presbyterian Day School. The current FPD Lacrosse head coach has now been named as head coach of the Lady Viking varsity softball team, announced Wednesday, Feb. 24 in a team meeting.

Congratulations to our competition hip hop and prop teams, who participated this past weekend in their first competition of the year at North Cobb High School.

Over the past two years, FPD's Board and Administration have worked diligently on a future-focused, campus Master Plan for First Presbyterian Day School. FPD invites our families to join us on Tuesday, March 15 in the Clark Fine Arts Center at 7:00 p.m. as we reveal the adopted FPD Master Plan.

FPD football senior Brad Powell signed a letter of commitment with Mercer University on Thursday, Feb. 18.

FPD is excited to welcome Christen Patterson (’07) McCommon as Enrollment Coordinator in the FPD Enrollment Office.

Sophomores and juniors are encouraged to take the SAT Reasoning Test in the spring. In order sharpen their test taking skills, students in these two grades can participate in an SAT Prep class led by FPD faculty. The six-session course will be held on select evenings in February starting Tuesday, February 9.
