Iron Foot 3v3 Soccer

IronFoot_Facebook_March2
For boys and girls in grades 2 – 5
Iron Foot 3v3 soccer is dedicated to the young athlete who wishes to learn the game in a fun but challenging setting. Players meet twice weekly for seven weeks and will be introduced to the technical aspects of the game including dribbling, shooting, passing, receiving, and defending. They will be given opportunities to demonstrate their growing skills in real game situations, in a 3v3 format, to ensure lots of touches on the ball which is key to a young player’s development.

Training will focus on developing each player’s skill; education, so that the player better understands decisions he/she is making on the field; and preparation, so he/she is prepared to advance to the next level, if that is his/her desire. Training topics are limited to foundational aspects of the game, focusing on keeping a ball at the player’s feet. Certain topics, such as goal keeping and heading, are intentionally excluded, as they can be introduced later when the child is older. Games are integrated into each session to keep it fun! Bible based lessons on the marks of a Christian athlete are included at each weekly session.

Led by veteran trainer Charlie Parrish and his staff, players are grouped by age and gender and will be trained according to their ability.  Whether your child is a first-time player, or has experience in the game, he or she will be appropriately challenged in a fun setting!
