Christen McCommon Named International Program Director

FPD is excited to announce the promotion of Christen Patterson (’07) McCommon to International Program Director. Christen has served as Enrollment Assistant since February 2016.  In addition, Christen along with her husband, Brian (’04), have served as International Host Parents at the Jones Family International Residence since December 2016.

Since serving as a host parent at the Jones Family International Residence, Christen’s love and appreciation for FPD’s International Program has grown exponentially and this new role will allow her to use her talents to best serve this segment of our school population. As International Program Director, Christen will manage every aspect of FPD’s growing International Program. She will direct the recruitment, application and enrollment process for International families while partnering with Tracey Elliott, FPD International Coordinator, to support our International parents as well as our local host parents.

“Christen’s direct focus on the program will allow us to better assist our International students while providing the necessary oversight for continued success,” comments Cheri Frame, FPD Enrollment Director. “Christen continues to be a valuable member of our Enrollment Team and we are thrilled to be able to use her talents to manage the intricacies of our unique global program.”

Christen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. She previously served as the Program and Events Manager at the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research in Atlanta, Georgia.
