FPD’s Extended Day Program is offered to all lower school students (3K-5th grade) who are enrolled at First Presbyterian Day School.
School Year Extended Day
FPD’s Extended Day Program is available for 3K – 5th grade. Students in 3K – 2nd grade participate in games and activities at FPD’s Kindergarten Building, while students in grades 3 – 5 have their own special program called the Viking Crew. Both programs are led by caring faculty who set aside time for students to work on homework and then have fun with their peers and classmates.
During the school year, the program operates weekdays from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (August-May). The program operates from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the summer months.
The Extended Day Program will close on the following holidays in the 2017-2018 Academic School Year:
- September 4
- October 9-10
- November 20 – 24
- December 18 – January 3
- January 15

***During the summer the Extended Day Summer Program is closed July 4.
A child may be enrolled for one day, two days, three days or four/five days per week. A family may change or cancel the daycare plan for his/her child at any time during the school year with a thirty day written notice to the Extended Day Director. Drop-in rates are also available with a 24-hour notice.
