MACON, Ga. – The start time of FPD football’s 2015 season opener has been pushed back 30 minutes and is now slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff against Howard High School at Mercer University’s Five Star Stadium on Thursday night, August 27.

Pre-sale tickets are still available and are $5 each. Tickets will be available in each office on campus as well as the Viking Store until Thursday at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per person at the gate on Thursday night.

“We hope to see a big crowd at our season opener,” Moore said. “We are excited about the start of our season and our team has been working hard to get ready for what should be an exciting game against Howard.”

The Vikings bested the Huskies in 2014, claiming a 26-25 overtime win at Austin Childers Field at George S. Johnson Stadium.
