Opening Match, February 15
The FPD Tennis Complex has been a long-awaited addition to the FPD campus. Through generous gifts by numerous friends and families, the courts will officially open in February.
“We are very excited about the new tennis complex,” said FPD head tennis coach, Derek Lashley. “It is such a blessing to be able to have these facilities on campus. It’s going to allow us to expand our tennis program and enhance the skill sets of our student-athletes. We also look forward to welcoming our families and friends and really the entire community for tournaments and events.”
Work will also continue on the Peake Cross Country Trail expansion so it will be available for meets next fall. Research is also underway for units of nature study, utilizing the vast natural resources available within the adjacent conservation easement.
“We have seen God’s hands at work throughout this entire process,” said FPD Headmaster, Gregg Thompson, “and we are very excited about the numerous possibilities these venues will offer our students as well as the community.”
Schedule of Opening
