FPD has a full slate of activities planned for Homecoming 2013, which will take place this year on Oct. 18-19.
“Save the date” cards will go out next week, and we hope all alumni will be able to attend. Reunion events for the classes of 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008 are planned. Reunion organizers are listed below.
We’re also excited to announce the founding of the “Day School Dash,” a 5K event that will start and end on campus, along with a 1-mile “Fun Run” for the kids.
An alumni baseball game is also scheduled during the weekend festivities.
Homecoming 2013 kicks off with the dedication of the David and Janet Walton Reading Room at 3:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18.

4:30 p.m. – Open Campus – Tour on your own
6 p.m. – Pre-game Alumni BBQ under the big tent. Free for alumni and their families
7:05 p.m. – Alumni Awards presented on field
7:30 p.m. – Homecoming game vs. Hancock Central – free for alumni and their families
Halftime – FPD Marching Band Performance and crowning of the 2013 Homecoming Queen
Saturday, Oct. 19

8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – Pancake breakfast (free for alumni and run participants)
8 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Open Campus: Tour on your own. Family Fun Day activities outside tent
9 a.m. – Dedication of Peake Cross Country Trail and awards for the Day School Dash
