While there are many other camps in other categories available to middle school students, these camps are geared specifically to this age group.

Laughter, Lockers, and Lunch
For girls rising in grade 6

Join us for fun, food, and fellowship with other 6th grade girls. Reconnect with old friends and meet some new ones too! Learn ways to be organized for middle school using Outlook calendar and other organizational apps for a successful year.  Plus, get crafty and creative by making personalized locker decorations. Lunch provided.

Academic

SAT Prep Class
For students rising in grades to 10 and 11

Get ready to take the SAT in this prep class led by FPD College Counselor, Brad Thompson.  Geared toward new SAT test-takers, this class will go over each section and will also cover how to register, what tests look like and other helpful information for SAT test takers. This preparatory class will greatly increase a student’s opportunities for a higher score on the SAT.

Athletics

FPD Middle School Softball Camp
For girls rising in grades 6-8

This camp will include instruction on hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running. Specific instructions on all positions will also be included. Daily games will enable participants to practice the skills being taught. Campers will need to provide a bat, fielding glove, batting glove, softball pants, t-shirt, and water bottle. Come get ready for the great softball season.

For girls rising in grades 6-8

Improve your fundamental basketball skills. Geared toward intermediate players, this camp will improve skills through practice drills and training.

Art & Crafts

“Sew” Much Fun!
For girls rising in grades 6 and up

Sewing is so much fun! Students will create pajama pants and other projects.  The students will go home with 4 projects by the end of the week. Sewing machines and supplies will be provided. Spaces are limited.

Cookies, Crowns, and Lettering
For girls rising in grades 6-8

We will spend time learning the beauty of being girls! Each day will open with a short devotion on how God created girls fearfully and wonderfully! We will decorate cookies, create flower crowns, and learn the basics of calligraphy. Girls will model their flower crowns in a styled photo shoot and receive a picture to take home.

Teen Master Chef
For rising students in grades 6-12

Have you ever wanted to chop, slice, and dice like the masters? Ever wanted to decorate a cake like a pro? Come sharpen your cooking & baking skills while having fun in the kitchen. The class will make homemade pizza, soups, main dishes, fancy cakes, and more.
