Congratulations to FPD’s 2019 STAR Student, Jansyn Samples, and her selected STAR teacher, Mrs. Chelsea Latimer.

The STAR Student award is bestowed by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators on the Senior who has the highest score on the three-part SAT on one test date taken through November of their Senior year. He or she must also be in the top ten percent of their class based on grade point average. The STAR Student then selects a STAR Teacher whom he or she feels has had the greatest impact on his or her academic career at FPD.
