Create and Be Inspired
FPD’s art program empowers students to explore their creativity and reach their full artistic potential.
Starting as early as 3K, students are introduced to a variety of media, fostering self-expression and artistic growth through elementary, middle, and high school.

In high school, students can choose from an array of honors art courses and three AP art classes.
This provides advanced opportunities to refine their skills. Recognized as the premier art program in Middle Georgia, FPD’s art students consistently earn top honors in local and regional competitions.

Rooted in the belief that God is the ultimate artist and that we are created in His image, children are encouraged to embrace their innate desire to create.
Each year, students tackle exciting and challenging projects, building a personal portfolio of artwork. These treasured collections, sent home at the end of the school year, are keepsakes for both students and their families to cherish.

AP Classes
FPD’s Advanced Placement Art program offers dedicated art students an opportunity to challenge themselves and earn college credit. Instead of a traditional exam, students complete a portfolio-based assessment, submitted to the College Board in the spring.
The portfolio showcases a cohesive body of work that reflects a well-developed conceptual and technical theme, demonstrating both creativity and mastery. AP Art is designed for serious art students ready to take their skills and vision to the next level!
