Sadonna Fleming is a recent FPD graduate, finishing up her high school career in 2019. At the completion of high school, she earned the honor of Most Community Service Hours; she has continued that spirit of giving back while in college.
Mission work has been a big part of Katie Scott's life since she was fifteen years old. In particular, she connected with Casa Hogar. We wanted to touch base with Katie to learn more about her work at Casa Hogar and her love for sharing God's Word.

Each Tuesday, we are going to spotlight an FPD teacher. Today we start with Mr. Christian Baumgarth who teaches Math 7, Algebra 1, and Statistics. He also coaches cross country, swim, and track. He has a lot of student fans at FPD, so we thought we would check in with him about his love for teaching and for FPD.
One of the biggest fears that we have is the fear of what’s next, and often it is because we have the fear of change. Previously, I used a book by Max Lucado called Fearless while teaching my Sunday school class. While reading some of the chapters, I thought of our seniors and the nervous excitement they feel (and parents feel) as they head off to college. Here are some thoughts I had and some thoughts from Max as well.
Caroline Stroud graduated from FPD in 2014. She went on to earn a BBA in Marketing with a Studio Art Minor from the University of Georgia in 2018. She assumed her art would always be a side job. However, just a few months after graduation, she painted a mural for the Atlanta Braves and received a commission from Dansby Swanson, shortstop for the Atlanta Braves. Now, she has her own studio in Atlanta and her passion is her full-time career.
