Over the next few weeks we are going to spotlight several Class of 2018 graduates who are finishing up their first year at college. We wanted to see how they were doing and how they consider their days at FPD.
FPD's Lady Vikings soccer is again rising to the top this season. We wanted to touch base with two of the Senior athletes, Jansyn Samples, a team captain, and Molly Lee who was recently named a Macon Sports Hall of Fame 2019 Scholar Athlete.
With a talented group of athletes, top-notch coaches, and beautiful new tennis courts on which to practice, FPD's tennis teams have been blessed with a terrific season. At the time of this blog post, the boys were 12 - 1 and the girls were 11 - 2 with several more matches on the horizon. The First Presbyterian Day School robotics team, Smida Syndicate, competed in the State FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) Championship and qualified for the World Championship in Houston, Texas, April 17 – 20.
Emory Thompson ('25) loves history! Recently, she enrolled in the Junior Docent program at Macon's Cannonball House and is now a trained tour guide for this historic Macon home.
