Rhythms and Moves

For boys and girls in grades 3K – 1

We will incorporate movement and music to learn simple basic gymnastic skills, coordination, and large-motor skills.

Makers Space

For boys and girls in grades K – 2

We will provide a wide range of assorted materials and supplies that students can use to create exciting things with their imagination. Children who create develop stronger problem-solving skills. When children are given the time, space, and supplies to create, they are developing important skills they will use throughout their lifetime! Grab a friend and sign up. Come discover what’s possible!

Viking Tennis Academy

For boys and girls grades K – 5

The FPD Tennis Academy seeks to grow the love of tennis in new and current tennis players through sharpening their skills and techniques in a fun, challenging, and competitive environment.

Mondays: K – 2nd grade
Session 1 January 27 – March 9 (no class on February 17)
Session 2 March 16 – April 27 (no class on March 30)
Rain out days are Fridays
Wednesdays: 3rd – 5th grade
Session 1 January 28 – March 10 (no class on February 18)
Session 2 March 17 – April 28 (no class on March 31)

Golf Squad

For boys and girls in grades K – 5

Golf Squad is coming to First Presbyterian Day School! Golf Squad is for both new and continuing students and provides weekly opportunities for your child to learn the technical swing mechanics (i.e. putting, chipping, full swing, etc.) as well as the social skills required to enjoy golf, the clubs, and golf course (i.e. vocabulary, etiquette, rules, history, etc.) all under the instruction of an LPGA or PGA Professional. Golf is a very challenging and fun sport that can lead to college scholarships. So start early and start now…boys and girls!  Even if your child already plays, it is great to enjoy weekly, convenient lessons from the pro.

Princess Ballet

For girls in grades 3K – K

An introduction to the art of ballet through creative movement and music appreciation. Children are introduced to movements that allow them to use their bodies in order to say something. Time will be spent developing individual expression and imagination. Each student will need a black or light pink modest leotard with ballet tights and shoes. A class demonstration will be given on April 27.

Music Lessons for Children & Adults

Open to all ages

FPD offers a wide variety of music lessons with talented teachers. Lessons are available in guitar, drum, fiddle, ukulele, piano, trombone, and voice.
