FPD Gives Back

Schoolwide Community Service

In order to help fulfill our mission to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory, FPD maintains a community service program that allows students to follow the example of Christ by serving others in the city of Macon, the state of Georgia, throughout the
United States, and across the world.

During the fall semester, Viking Nation participates in a School-wide Community Service Project, partnering with a ministry in an effort make a difference in various ways. In the fall semester of 2021, Viking Nation partnered with Campus Clubs, and raised enough funds to build Campus Clubs a new library. In the fall of 2022, Viking Nation partnered with Covenant Care Adoptions in order to help with their Birth Mother Retreat. In the fall of 2023, Viking Nation partnered with Casa Hogar to help them build a new playground for the children who live there.

Elementary Community

FPD builds a love for serving others starting in our lower school. Students in grades 3K – 5th grade participate in projects such as packing bags for Backpack Ministry, visiting local nursing homes, raising money for Christmas gifts, and helping at the local food bank.

Service in High School

In high school, FPD students dive into how they can use their gifts to serve others. While students are required to give 120 hours of community service, many give more. Sixty of these hours have to be through face-to-face opportunities helping others in need, such as serving in local schools, food banks, at Campus Clubs and more. One of the culminating projects for seniors is a Senior Service Day.

Are you ready to start your journey?

FPD exists to educate and equip students to change the world for God's glory. FPD provides a relationship-focused, academically-strong, Christ-centered experience for grades 3K - 12th. The strength of our school stems from the relationships between students and the Christ-centered faculty and staff who mentor them daily.
