FPD is excited to announce Spiritual Emphasis Week, February 23-25! This week will enhance FPD’s godly leadership development with daily chapel sessions (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) for students in 2nd-12thgrade. FPD welcomes two guest speakers for the week, Kaleigh Burt, and Taylor Burgess.

Elementary School Speaker: Kaleigh Burt

Kaleigh Burt, Preschool and Children’s Director at Turning Point, will lead our elementary chapel. She attended Georgia Southern University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Religious Studies. Kaleigh has served as the Preschool and Children’s Director since 2019. She states, “I have a huge passion to work with children and it fills my heart with joy to see the Lord working in their precious lives!”

Middle and High School Speaker: Taylor Burgess

Taylor Burgess, Lead Pastor of preaching, mission, and vision at Cross Community Church, will lead our middle and high school chapels. Taylor holds both undergraduate and master’s degrees from Liberty University and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2016, after spending 12 years in worship and student ministry, Taylor stepped out in faith to plant Cross Community Church in 2016. Taylor is deeply passionate about the “big C” Church, revival, spiritual disciplines, and preaching the gospel. He believes the next great spiritual awakening is on the horizon and feels genuinely burdened to call this generation to seek the Lord with their whole hearts.
