Mr. Andrew Shealy joins TEAM FPD as a Mathematics Teacher for the Upper School and Robotics Coach. Mr. Shealy is currently pursuing his Doctor of Education at Valdosta State University. He received his master’s degree from the College of Charleston and his bachelor’s degree from Georgia College & State University. He has worked in various roles at several schools and as a lecturer at Mercer University as well as at Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. Mr. Shealy is originally from Moultrie but lives with his family in Brunswick. He and his wife Morgan have two sons, Andrew (4) and Luke (1). In his spare time, Mr. Shealy loves doing anything his sons enjoy. Excited to join Viking Nation, Mr. Shealy looks forward to “teaching mathematics from a biblical worldview and joining a community with a proven academic excellence record while maintaining biblical truths.”

 

Mr. Jared W. Harrelson will begin in August as a High School Bible Teacher. Mr. Harrelson currently lives in Apopka, Florida, and serves as a Bible and History Teacher at Trinity Christian School. He received his Bachelor of Social Science from Auburn University and his Master of Divinity from Liberty University. Mr. Harrelson looks forward to “partnering with other brothers and sisters in Christ to ‘Change the World for God’s Glory’ through education” at FPD. From Smiths, Alabama, Mr. Harrelson has worked at schools in his home state, Virginia, Ohio, and Florida. He and his wife Victoria have been married for two years. Mr. Harrelson enjoys reading, bass fishing, playing golf, having a good cup of coffee, and hanging out with his wife.
