Several FPD students competed in various categories at the GHSA Class-A State Literary Competition on Saturday, March 14, at Northside High School in Warner Robins.

Senior Faith Marie Engle finished T-1 in Girls Extemporaneous Speaking while Jacob Cardis took fourth place in Boys Extemporaneous Speaking.

In the music events, FPD also had a strong showing.

FPD’s Girls Trio of Sumner Carlton, Mary Bennet Rose and Julia Peavy placed third overall and Mary Elizabeth Neisler took third in Girls Solo.
