FPD Homeschool Support

About the Program:


FPD is excited to expand its current Homeschool Connections program to include new opportunities for homeschool students to participate in current FPD classes on an a la carte basis on campus.

Through FPD’s Homeschool Support program, parents of students in grades 1 – 12 can now choose from a selection of on-campus FPD classes to enhance their child’s homeschool program. Lower School classes range from weekly options in elementary music, art, and Spanish to daily opportunities in math and language arts. Middle School and High School students can select from a range of semester and year-long classes, including AP courses for high school students.

Students are enrolled on an annual basis and can participate in up to four classes at one time. Homeschool students will be included in all corresponding classroom activities and enjoy being a Viking on FPD’s campus!

Application Process:

Participants interested in Homeschool Connections will need to complete an application. Students selecting classes beyond lower school art, music, band, or Spanish will need to participate in an Admissions Screening (to ensure classes will be able to meet student’s needs).

Once accepted, parents will sign an Enrollment Contract and pay in full for the year. Students will then receive their school tablet (if needed) and the times for their classes.


Students must abide by FPD’s student handbook, uniform policy, drug policy, and attendance policy. Students in 5th – 12th grade will be issued a student tablet ($500 annual technology fee) and need to abide by student tablet policy. (To ensure proper class tools, collaboration, and connection, the student’s personal computer cannot be substituted.)

During COVID-19 on-campus safety measures, students must also abide by FPD’s safety plan including wearing a mask (6th – 12th grade), getting a temperature check before going to class, and not coming to school if they have symptoms of illness. 


Payment is due in full at time of enrollment. No refunds can be issued after the enrollment.

Class Credits:

Students in upper grades will receive class credit for classes in which they successfully complete. These class credits can be transferred to other programs.
