FPD offers host family options for international students who prefer a home option. Host families undergo a rigorous application process to be approved, and FPD takes great care to connect international students with host families who share similar interests and preferences.

FPD offers the Jones Family International Residence for students who prefer a dormitory living arrangement. The residence houses multiple students under the leadership of a host family. Students participate in activities and meals together along with trips and outings in the local community.

 

Tuition Information

All Inclusive Early Enrollment Investment: $51,300 (25-26 academic year). Includes full daily academic programming, personal tablet computer, participation in arts and athletics, housing and meals, school lunch, local/regional travel & entertainment, health insurance, ESL support (if needed).

Meet our International Coordinator

 OptimizedImage,OptimizedMs. Melissa Brown is the Director of the International Program. Ms. Brown is from Macon and is a member of First Presbyterian Church. She has the sweetest Golden Retriever named Lolly, who loves everyone she meets.

Ms. Brown has been a teacher for 23 years, 16 of those at FPD. With a heart for missions, she has worked alongside missionaries in both Nicaragua and Mexico. FPD’s International Program is also very dear to her, as she began hosting an international student in 2024. 

As International Program Director, she looks forward to meeting new friends and learning about new cultures, particularly in China and South Korea.

“Through our international program, we truly live out our school’s mission, ‘to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory,’” Ms. Brown said. “I am so grateful to work with these students and families and grow the mission through our international program.”
