Middle School Principal Molly Pearson announced to faculty on Wednesday that she will be leaving her role in administration next fall and returning to the classroom for the 2022-2023 school year.

Mrs. Pearson joined FPD’s faculty in 1999 as a middle school science teacher before being named principal in 2003. She has faithfully served as FPD’s Middle School Principal for eighteen years, supporting hundreds of students and their families in this role.

“We are grateful for Mrs. Pearson and the humble, servant-leadership example she sets for our students and faculty,” notes Dr. Patterson. “Likewise, we are thankful that she wishes to continue serving at FPD as a member of our faculty. Mrs. Pearson is an exceptional teacher, and we know she is going to have outstanding positive impact on students in her classroom next year.”

Mrs. Pearson added, “I have loved serving as Middle School Principal for the past eighteen years, but I believe God is now wanting me to return to the classroom and serve students as a faculty member. FPD is an amazing school home, and I look forward to many more years of working with this team of teachers to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory.”
