Middle School & High School

  • FPD Theatre proudly announces auditions for our first show: Disney’s Descendants. This brand-new musical is based on the three well-known Descendants movies and will feature students in grades 4-8.  Auditions for middle school students will be Monday, September 21, and Tuesday, September 22 from 3:45-5:15 PM. Auditionees will choose only one day to attend.  To audition, please come prepared with a short (30-60 seconds) section of a song to sing.  If you only want to be considered for ensemble (group) roles without solo work, you do not have to prepare a song, but will be expected to sing with a group during auditions.  This show will be a great chance to get started in a musical!  Don’t let nervousness about your singing voice keep you away – we need you! Dr. Strickland will also hold an optional information meeting about Descendants and auditions after school this Wednesday (September 16) from 3:30-4:00 PM

  • Do you want to join the FPD PEP CLUB? The pep club is in charge of the student section at all FPD games, coming up with game themes, and being the loudest people in the stands. Pep Club is open to ALL FPD high school students (even if you are an athlete and on the field). If you would like to join you will need to pay a $15 required club dues to one of the Pep Club Officers by Friday, September 18th. This money will pay for your t-shirt, a pizza party during a home basketball game, and other activities we might do this school year. Please pay your $15 club dues to either Avery Kemper, Peyton Buckner, Savannah Terrell, or Julie Ann Grice.

  • The 2020 Viking Soccer League will begin on 9/24. Any 9-12 grade soccer player can sign-up to volunteer as a coach. It is a great way to work with future soccer players at the school and earn community service hours. Games will be from 4:00 – 5:00 this season and there is a total of 7 game days. The signup sheet is available in The Viking Store. This year all VSL activities will be done prior to winter sports beginning so please consider volunteering as a coach. Please email Coach Trieste if you have any questions.
