INDEPENDENT HEALTH students:
In order to get your Driver’s License, you must complete the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program which is a state requirement. Don’t panic! You can take the course online FREE at the Georgia Department of Drivers Services website. According to the DDS website, the test takes approximately 4 hours to complete but many of our students report that it doesn’t take that long.
Go to this link:
- Click on the “eADAP for Teen Drivers” link
- Click on “Student Registration” and create your Account.
- Proceed with the course and test, as directed.
- You will need to print a copy of your ADAP certificate and have it with you when you go get your Driver’s License.
ALSO…..about a week before you go to get your Driver’s License, you will need to contact Mrs. Liz Causey in the H.S. Office to get your Certificate of Attendance and your Driver’s Ed Certificate (if you took Drivers Ed here at FPD).
