FPD Theatre recognizes the vast and varied artistic talents of our students. The vibrant program includes classes for students in grades 6th – 12th, five or more full-scale productions for students in grades 3rd – 12th, and numerous other opportunities to perform, build, and design.

Elementary Theatre

Students in FPD’s 3rd-5th grade have the opportunity to participate in a school production specifically geared toward elementary students. Past performances include Rumpelstiltskin: Private Eye, Mr. Toad’s Mad Adventures, and Pan! among others.

Middle School Theatre

In middle school, students begin to refine their talents. During the school day, students choose from elective classes in dance, technical theatre, and acting. After school, middle school students can also participate in an annual middle school play as well as a middle and high school spring musical. Previous middle school performances include Disney’s Descendants: The Musical, Baker Street Irregulars, and The Entire American Revolution (In 40 Minutes or Less).

High School Theatre

FPD high school theatre provides outstanding opportunities for students to refine their stage talents. In addition to elective courses during the day, students can participate in an annual one-act competition, spring play, and spring musical. Previous spring musicals include Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Into the Woods, and Starlight Express.
