Christen McCommon Joins FPD as Director of Alumni Relations

Christen McCommon, ’07, Joins FPD as Director of Alumni Relations

 OptimizedImage,,,OptimizedChristen McCommon,’07, returns to FPD as Director of Alumni Relations, bringing both professional experience and a lifelong connection to the school community. With deep roots in Macon and in the FPD community, she will lead our efforts to engage and connect with our more than 3,500 alumni. 

After graduating from FPD, Christen attended the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations, along with a minor in Art History.

She previously served the school for five years in the Admissions and Advancement Offices and the International Program. Christen has built a career in events, branding, and community relations with several nonprofit organizations, including Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia, and United in Pink.
Christen and her husband, Brian, ‘04, have two children who attend FPD: Larkin, who will be going into second grade, and Harry, who will be in 3K.

In her free time, Christen enjoys spending time with family, visiting the beach, gardening, and playing mahjong.
“I’m so excited to return to FPD, a place that feels like home to our family,” Christen said. “I look forward to connecting with our alumni community—celebrating their stories, building relationships, and supporting the mission, growth, and impact of a school that means so much to us.”
