Full Day Camp Options for 2026!

Camp Trailblazer

Camp Trailblazer is an all-day, fun-filled week of summer camp like you have always imagined. For kids in rising 1st -6th grade, come be part of a fantastic summer camp where you will learn, grow, and have lots of fun in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Trailblazers will participate in a wide variety of activities throughout the day including daily devotions, sports, team games, STEAM activities, arts and crafts, team fun, and extra activities each week.

Camp Notes
  • A morning and afternoon snack is provided for each camper.
  • Trailblazers should bring a lunch and water bottle to camp each day.
  • We encourage kids to come dressed to play and to be indoor and outdoor-ready. We ask campers to wear closed-toe shoes and to apply sunscreen before they come to camp.
  • Weekly emails are sent to parents with camp information. Trailblazers will come home each Monday with the camp newsletter for the week sharing the theme for the week and other helpful information.
  • You can register your trailblazer for the whole summer or just one week at a time. You do not have to pre-register for the entire summer.
  • Payment for the camp week is due at the time of registration.
  • Registration is closed on Wednesday for the coming week, as long as spots are still available.
  • No toys or electronic devices, including Pokémon cards and pop-its, are allowed at camp.
  • All Campers will abide by the code of conduct for an FPD student.

FPD also offers full-day, summer care for FPD-enrolled students in 3K – Kindergarten through the Viking Clubhouse. During the summer, we explore, play, and create to have a summer packed with engaging learning opportunities.

Please note that students must be enrolled at FPD to participate in all-day care. Before- and after-care is open to all students enrolled in FPD Center for Discovery camps that week who need before- and after-care.

Whether you love Legos or not, you will love this camp! We will explore how we can use Legos creatively to engineer structures, make art, and solve problems! There will be project builds, group challenges, and free build time throughout the week. We will discuss the engineering design process while we work on projects to cultivate problem solving skills, use our imagination, and even build fine motor skills. We will build, create, explore, and use our imaginations all week long!!

Cheer mini-camp is a chance to get hands-on instruction by our very own FPD cheerleaders and coaching staff. You will learn cheers, chants, stunts, and dances. Christmas in June Art Camp

For boys and girls going into 2nd – 5th grade

Join us for a festive art camp where winter magic meets summer fun. Designed for 2nd–5th graders, this cheerful camp invites young artists to celebrate the spirit of the season through hands-on creativity. Campers will sculpt and design holiday treasures like mini Christmas trees, small nativity pieces, and personalized ornaments, then create beautiful snowy landscapes and heartfelt greeting cards using oil pastels and watercolor mixed media.

Ever wonder what makes a photo stand out? In Photography 101, campers will learn how to see the world like a photographer. Students will explore lighting, composition, storytelling, and basic camera settings while completing fun daily photo challenges. The week concludes with a mini gallery showcase featuring each student’s best image. Whether using a DSLR or smartphone, campers will leave with sharper skills and a new creative eye. The purpose of this 8-hour SAT class is to offer test familiarity with the SAT, review math concepts and verbal skills expected on the SAT, and to reduce test anxiety associated with this kind of test. We will take a practice test as part of the course.

SAT Math Workshop: Problem Solving, Data Analysis, Geometry & Trigonometry (Monday - Thursday)

For students in 10th -12th grade 

This SAT Math workshop focuses on the Problem-Solving and Data Analysis and Geometry and Trigonometry domains. Students will develop skills needed to interpret data, analyze real-world scenarios, and solve geometry and trigonometry problems commonly found on the SAT. The workshop combines direct instruction, guided practice, and full SAT-style practice tests. Students will learn how to work with ratios, percentages, statistics, graphs, geometric relationships, and trigonometric concepts while developing strategies for efficiently approaching SAT questions. The workshop is designed to strengthen students’ overall mathematical reasoning and analytical thinking, helping them build skills that will transfer to future math classes and college-level coursework. Students will leave with deeper conceptual understanding, improved problem-solving skills, and greater confidence in tackling challenging math problems

Viking Volleyball Camp is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of volleyball in a fun and challenging environment. Campers will learn basic skills like passing, setting, serving, and teamwork through engaging drills and games.

Boss Babe Camp: Faith, Confidence & Entrepreneurship

God created you fearfully and wonderfully made — and this camp is designed to help girls live like it. In Boss Babe Camp, students will explore inspiring female entrepreneurs, discover their own God-given strengths, and learn how to turn ideas into impact. Campers will build a business concept, design branding, practice public speaking, and present their idea to a panel of guest judges in a fun Shark Tank–style finale. Girls will leave more confident, courageous, and equipped to lead boldly.

The Summer Stock Theater Experience

For girls and boys going into 6th – 12th grade 

Actors often break into professional careers through working at "summer stocks" - regional theatres that produce numerous full-scale productions in a very short amount of time. Experience the energy and excitement of staging, designing, and performing a full-scale theatre production in just one week! Led by Dr. Strickland, a veteran director and actor at summer stock theatres, camp participants will get a true taste of what it takes to make outstanding theatre magic quickly!

Robotics Prime

Participants will be introduced to the LEGO Spike Prime Robot. Participants will use teamwork, LEGO building skills, and coding skills to create designs that solve specific challenges in a given time frame. Challenges range from easy to complex. This class uses more coding than building.
