FPD Annual Fund

Invest in the Mission and Ministry of FPD

The FPD Fund provides funding for the needs of the school that go beyond revenue received through tuition. With FPD Fund gifts, FPD is able to supplement and enhance our programming, allowing our students to have the highest quality learning environment.

While tuition is the school's main source of operating revenue, it covers only a portion of what is needed to provide the outstanding academics, art, athletics and student life which has positioned FPD as one of the best private schools in the central Georgia region. While it is important to look to and plan for the future, we must first be intentional with the needs of today.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my gift tax-deductible?
FPD is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, so gifts made to the school do qualify for a tax deduction. Please consult your tax advisor for rules governing your tax situation.
How does "every gift of every amount" make a difference?
In addition to the importance of every gift contributing to reaching an overall monetary goal, the percentage of giving is especially important. When applying for grants, a high percentage for parent giving enhances opportunities for additional grant funds to support projects and enhancements.
Can I designate my gift?

Yes! You can designate your FPD Annual Fund gift to a specific athletic program, fine arts program, class, teacher, or campus project. All gifts count toward the overall monetary and giving percentage goals for the Annual Fund.

Who gives to the FPD Annual Fund?
FPD receives FPD Annual Fund support from all members of the FPD community including parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty and staff, board members, friends of the school and foundations.
How does my student benefit from the Annual Fund?

Every gift to the FPD Fund directly enhances your child’s experience at FPD. From updated classroom technology and enriching academic programs to vibrant arts, athletics, and spiritual development opportunities, Annual Fund support helps provide the resources that make an FPD education exceptional—every day, for every student.

Why should I give to the FPD Annual Fund?
FPD Annual Fund dollars cover enhancements and campus projects not covered by tuition dollars. The continued growth and strengthening of FPD is made possible by the gifts made to the FPD Annual Fund each year and promote the longevity and sustainability of FPD.
Why doesn't tuition cover the full cost of educating each student?
To cover the actual cost of educating a student would require a significant tuition increase.  FPD, like other private schools, generates its funding from a variety of sources.  These include tuition, private grants, and fundraising from parents, alumni, and other community members.  Tax-deductible donations to FPD’s Annual Fund directly offset the current year’s operating budget, thus reducing each student’s annual tuition cost.
What is an appropriate gift amount for the Annual Fund?
A gift of any amount is appreciated and counts towards the important participation measurements.  Each donor is asked to prayerfully consider giving a meaningful gift, at whatever level that may be for you, that reflects your commitment to FPD and your ability to give.

Are you ready to start your journey?

FPD exists to educate and equip students to change the world for God's glory. FPD provides a relationship-focused, academically-strong, Christ-centered experience for grades 3K - 12th. The strength of our school stems from the relationships between students and the Christ-centered faculty and staff who mentor them daily.
