A Proven Track Record in Soccer Leadership

Coach Semones brings extensive experience to FPD’s athletics program. He previously served as the head women’s soccer coach at Wesleyan College from 2018 to 2021 and spent ten years coaching with Legion FC from 2014 to 2024. Known for his ability to build strong relationships and cultivate team culture, Coach Semones is respected for his strategic mind and Christ-centered leadership. Athletic Director Greg Moore said Coach Semones has already demonstrated a strong alignment with FPD’s mission and believes the boys soccer team will thrive under his guidance.

A Heart for Coaching—and for Ministry

A native of Warner Robins, Coach Semones is a graduate of Northside High School and Southern New Hampshire University, where he earned a degree in sports management. He views his role as both a coach and a mentor, using the platform of athletics to point students and families toward the Lord. Coach Semones said FPD’s mission to further the kingdom of the Lord through education and sport aligns perfectly with how he coaches. His goal is to lead teams to success on the field while guiding players and their families toward Christ in everything they do.

A Strong Team On and Off the Field

Coach Semones and his wife, Kaylie, have a one-year-old son named Beckham. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, and hiking with his family. He will join Coach Berkebile, FPD’s girls soccer coach, in growing the school’s soccer program. The two previously worked together at Wesleyan. Coach Berkebile shared his excitement about reuniting with Coach Semones, noting his knowledge of the game and his ability to connect with players. Together, they look forward to taking FPD soccer to new heights.
