FPD Celebrates Three State Championships and Coach of the Year Honors

The 2023–2024 school year was one to remember at First Presbyterian Day School, as three Viking athletic teams brought home GIAA State Championships, solidifying FPD’s reputation for excellence in both academics and athletics.
Champions Crowned in Clay Shooting, Football, and Girls Tennis
 
This year, FPD’s Clay Shooting Team, Football Team, and Girls Tennis Team each claimed the top spot in the state, bringing pride and excitement to Viking Nation.
 
These victories reflect not only athletic skill but also the hard work, discipline, and commitment to Christ-centered character that define FPD’s approach to education and sports.
 
Coaches Honored as GIAA Coaches of the Year
In addition to team success, three FPD coaches were named GIAA Coach of the Year for their outstanding leadership and impact on their athletes:
