Madison Thomas, FPD Class of 2029, Earns Eagle Scout Rank
MACON, GA – First Presbyterian Day School (FPD) proudly celebrates Madison Thomas (Class of 2029) for achieving the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, an honor earned by only about 6% of Scouts nationwide.
For her Eagle Scout project, Girl Power, Madison demonstrated exceptional Macon, GA youth leadership by creating and delivering 300 feminine care bags to fourth- and fifth-grade girls at Bruce Elementary, LH Williams Elementary, Ingram Pye Elementary, and Veterans Elementary. Each reusable bag included feminine care items, wipes, deodorant, and school supplies to help girls feel confident and prepared during the school day.
Raising $1,800 for the project was her biggest challenge, but Madison’s determination and community spirit brought her vision to life.
“Attaining the rank of Eagle Scout unlocks my inner strength, fuels my passions, and cultivates exceptional leadership skills and enduring values,” Madison shared.
Madison’s accomplishment reflects FPD’s commitment to developing servant leaders who make a lasting impact in their community and beyond.
