Applying to FPD is easy! Below are the steps for the application process. If you have any questions or need assistance, contact our Enrollment Office at 478.477.4774.

1. Complete the Online Admission Application

To begin the application process, set-up an account with FPD’s online application portal. Once your account is set-up, log in and complete the online admission application.

2. Application Checklist

After completing the FPD online application, a representative from FPD’s admissions office will be in touch and will set-up an online checklist from which you will be able to upload required documents and follow along as your student’s application is processed. Checklists will vary by student grade level.

3. Submit all required documents.

Use the online application portal to submit required documents listed on the checklist.

Documents include:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Transcript (K – 12th)
  • Discipline Report (2nd – 12th)
  • Teacher Recommendation (2nd – 12th)

5. If applying for Tuition Assistance, complete the Tuition Assistance Application.

  • Complete the on-line FAST application process.
  • Immediately mail copies of the required supporting documents to FAST.
  • If not applying for tuition assistance, you can skip this step.

5. Admission Assessment

FPD’s Admissions Office will be in touch to set up an Admission Assessment.

6. Decision

An admissions decision can take up to 30 days. You will be notified by phone. A conference may be scheduled with parents to discuss results and the admission decision.

Upon Acceptance

Upon acceptance, parents will be given ten days to return the enrollment contract with the enrollment deposit to hold a space for their child.

Before a student is enrolled, the following forms must be on file: a copy of the student’s birth certificate, a copy of the student’s social security card, a Georgia Certificate of Immunization, and a Georgia Certificate of Ear, Eye, and Dental Examinations. According to Georgia law, these records must be on file within 30 days of enrollment in order for the student to continue in school.
