Head Coach

Matt Buren

Matt Buren has been an FPD basketball coach since 2022, first as middles school assistant, then Head JV coach and now as Head of the Middle School basketball team. He competed at the collegiate level both as a player and assistant coach prior to coming to FPD. Matt is a Middle School Bible teacher at FPD and holds a B.A. from Trinity Christian College and an M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is also a member of New City Church and F3. Matt and his wife, Jamie, and their son, Silas, enjoy attending FPD events and staying involved in the community.
