Head Coach
Brad Thompson
Brad begins his 1st year as the Head XC coach after 6 years coaching middle school. He has been at FPD for 28 years. In that time, he has coached football, basketball, baseball and tennis. He has taught English and Bible at FPD, and he has been the College Counselor since 2010. He has an undergraduate degree from Mercer University and a master’s degree from Covenant College. Brad and his wife, Katherine (95’) have three children: Olivia, Emory (12th) and Brooks (6th). They are members of Ingleside. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, going to the beach and watching sports.
