

Center for Discovery After-School Programs
After-School Fun!
FPD’s Center for Discovery provides an array of after-school programs and youth athletic leagues for kids to explore new hobbies or enhance their skill sets. All programs are open to the community and led by Christ-centered mentors who encourage students to explore their God-given skills.

Princess Ballet
For girls 3K-1st Grade
An introduction to the art of ballet through creative movement and music appreciation for students in 3K-1st grade. Children are introduced to music and movements that will allow them to use their bodies in order to say something. Time will be spent developing individual expression and imagination. Each student will need a black or light pink modest leotard with ballet tights and shoes. A class demonstration will be given on May 1st .

Dates: Monday, January 30th- May 1st (class will not meet on February 20th or March 20th).

SAT Spring Practice Course
The purpose of this 12-hour SAT class is to offer test familiarity with the SAT, review math concepts and verbal skills expected on the SAT, and to reduce test anxiety associated with this kind of test. We will take a practice test as part of the course.
Dates: January 31st, February 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th
Cost : $115
Time: 3:30-5:30

Elementary Robotics
Students will build engineering and critical-thinking skills as they work together to explore real-world problems. Through the theme SuperPowered, we will look at energy and where it comes from, how it is used, and how we can plan to establish a better energy future. Students will learn to design, code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO Education Spike software.

Other Music Lessons
Open to all ages
FPD offers a wide variety of music lessons with talented teachers here on our campus. Many of the teachers are well known in the community and in our school family for their exceptional musical talents.
Lessons are available in guitar, piano, flute, trombone, drum, violin, and clarinet.

Youth Sports Teams
FPD is home to multiple Youth Sports Leagues including Viking Soccer League, Viking Football & Cheer, Viking Basketball League, and Viking Tennis.
