After-School Fun!

FPD’s Center for Discovery provides an array of after-school programs and youth athletic leagues for kids to explore new hobbies or enhance their skill sets. All programs are open to the community and led by Christ-centered mentors who encourage students to explore their God-given skills.

After School Art, Dance, & Music

After-school art programs allow students to explore their God-given talents in the arts including programs in art, ballet, piano, and a variety of private music lessons. All classes are taught on FPD's campus by Christ-centered mentors and teachers.

Princess Ballet

For girls in 3K-Kindergarten

An introduction to the art of ballet through creative movement and music appreciation for students in 3K-K.  Children are introduced to music and movements that will allow them to use their bodies to say something.  Time will be spent developing individual expression and imagination. Each student will need a black or light pink modest leotard with ballet tights and shoes.  A class demonstration will be given on May 2.

Piano Lessons

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade (no previous experience)

Piano Lab Lessons – Come learn and grow as a piano student. Use FPD’s innovative piano lab. Students will learn and grow at their own pace in a fun environment. We encourage students to take lessons for multiple months to see improvement.

Spring After School Art

For Kindergarten through 5th grade

Mrs. Nancy and Mrs. Mary Bennet are so excited to offer a class in the spring. We will create artwork using various materials and techniques. We love to produce works that families will cherish.

Other Music Lessons

Open to all ages

FPD offers a wide variety of music lessons with talented teachers here on our campus.  Many of the teachers are well known in the community and in our school family for their exceptional musical talents.

Lessons are available in guitar, piano, flute, trombone, drum, violin, and clarinet.

Preschool & Elementary STEM

Explore the world of robotics from a young age! Use your engineering and creativity to program robots in fun individual and team projects.

1st - 5th Grade Robotics

Students will begin to learn the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO brinks and powered by LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 software. Students will use the Mission Moon Inspire Set throughout the process.

Preschool STEM Camp

For boys and girls in 3K- 1st grade

Preschool STEM Camp is a great way for little ones to build fine motor skills and create things! They will engage in challenges like building bridges to help toy animals cross a “river”, building various shapes, building tall towers using cups and popsicle sticks, and more! It will be a fun and action-packed camp!

Camps for our youngest learners to use their imagination and creative skills.

Rhythm and Moves

For 3K- 1st Grade

We will incorporate movement and music to introduce basic gymnastic skills with age-appropriate music and equipment.

Valentine's Day Camp

For 3K – 1st grade

Valentine’s Camp is all about spreading love on the week of Valentine’s Day! We will make Valentine’s Cards for teachers, retirement home residents, nurses and doctors, and each other! We will learn about Valentine’s Day, make heart crafts, learn about love, and talk about how much God loves us!
