A student's education entails many small moments that add up to one big, bright future. At FPD, we surround students with Christian mentors who guide them on how to use their God-given talents to serve others, explore their talents, and reach their goals. FPD provides students with a comprehensive academic and faith foundation to prepare them for college and beyond.
Message from Dr. Patterson, Head of School
Benefit of Christ-Centered, College-Prep Education
It is our responsibility to do everything we can to “train up a child in the way they should go” (Proverbs 22:9). This entails a multi-faceted educational experience that includes both academic excellence and a biblical worldview. Neither can be exclusive if we are to provide our students with the best opportunity to influence their community and stand firm in their faith.
The FPD Way
Grow under the Guidance of Godly Mentors
The early years of a child’s education establish a lifelong foundation. FPD teachers help students grow into young men and women who are equipped academically and in their faith to lead confidently and reach their goals.
The FPD Way
Develop Godly Leadership
Tomorrow’s leaders need sound minds and strong character. To equip students with the skills they need to inspire and lead others FPD offers leadership development opportunities, mission trips, and community service outreach.
The FPD Way
Think Critically & Engage Creatively
Small classes led by faculty who are accomplished in their field provide an ideal environment for strong academic growth. FPD faculty inspire students to stretch their abilities, solve unique problems, and think critically.
The FPD Way
Explore the Outdoors
FPD’s large, 240-acre campus provides ample opportunities for students to explore the outdoors – to touch, see, and hear what they learn in the classroom.
Victoria King '23 and Tate Garrison '23
FPD encourages students to grow their talents and use them to serve others and give back to the community. Victoria King used her talents in robotics to teach elementary students at Campus Clubs about programming. Likewise, Tate Garrison drew on her love for art to lead Campus Clubs kids in art projects.
Take a Tour
A tour of FPD’s campus is the first step in learning more about the opportunities for your child. Along the tour, you will meet faculty and administrators, see classrooms, and have an opportunity to ask any questions about FPD.
Student Shadow Visits
Student Shadow Visits are a wonderful way to experience FPD for a day. Prospective students are paired with a current FPD student to attend classes, meet friends and faculty, and learn more about a day in the life of an FPD student.
FPD’s online application process is quick and easy. Plus, there is no fee to apply! Begin your child’s journey by applying online.
An FPD education is an investment in your child’s future. It provides an array of opportunities to learn and grow as students prepare for college and beyond. That top-quality education entails tuition, the majority of which goes toward hiring the best faculty and staff to teach, engage, and inspire.
FPD also offers a tuition assistance program to help families bridge the gap between what it costs to attend FPD and what they are able to pay. Through tuition assistance, we strive to work with all families who seek an FPD education for their children.
