What was your Eagle Scout project, and who did it benefit?

“My Eagle Scout project, Girl Power, is to provide feminine care bags for fourth- and fifth-grade girls at Bruce Elementary, LH Williams Elementary, Ingram Pye Elementary, and Veterans Elementary Schools that serve many families in low-income areas. After doing a lot of research, the cost each month ranges from $20–$26.”

Why did you choose this particular project?

Girl Power. Each motivational reusable care bag included feminine care items, wipes, deodorant, motivational stickers, hand lotion, note pads, and pencils. These essentials help young girls feel confident and prepared during the school day, and many families struggle to afford them consistently.”

What was the most challenging part of earning your Eagle Scout rank?

“Raising $1,800 to cover 300 bags and delivering all 300 bags to four elementary schools.”

What does becoming an Eagle Scout mean to you personally?

“Attaining the rank of Eagle Scout is a pivotal achievement that unlocks my inner strength, fuels my passions, and cultivates exceptional leadership skills and enduring values, ultimately shaping a brighter future and empowering me to make a lasting impact. Through this journey, I acquired invaluable life skills, including CPR, public speaking, and cooking, which set me up for success in all aspects of life.”
