Full Day Camp Options
Camp Trailblazer
Camp Trailblazer is an all-day, fun-filled week of summer camp like you have always imagined. For kids in rising 1st -6th grade, come be part of a fantastic summer camp where you will learn, grow, and have lots of fun in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Trailblazers will participate in a wide variety of activities throughout the day including daily devotions, sports, team games, STEAM activities, arts and crafts, team fun, and extra activities each week.

- A morning and afternoon snack is provided for each camper.
- Trailblazers should bring a lunch and water bottle to camp each day.
- We encourage kids to come dressed to play and to be indoor and outdoor-ready. We ask campers to wear closed-toe shoes and to apply sunscreen before they come to camp.
- Weekly emails are sent to parents with camp information. Trailblazers will come home each Monday with the camp newsletter for the week sharing the theme for the week and other helpful information.
- You can register your trailblazer for the whole summer or just one week at a time. You do not have to pre-register for the entire summer.
- Payment for the camp week is due at the time of registration.
- Registration is closed on Wednesday for the coming week, as long as spots are still available.
- No toys or electronic devices, including Pokémon cards and pop-its, are allowed at camp.
- All Campers will abide by the code of conduct for an FPD student.

Viking Clubhouse
FPD also offers full-day, summer care for FPD-enrolled students in 3K – Kindergarten through the Viking Clubhouse.During the summer, we explore, play, and create to have a summer packed with engaging learning opportunities.

Discovery Camps
S.T.E.A.M. Fun
Explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math with a variety of S.T.E.A.M. camps. These camps offer hands-on learning opportunities for students in all elementary and middle school.

In this fun-filled summer camp, students will build engineering and critical-thinking skills through Lego technology! Through the theme “Submerged,” we will explore the layers of the ocean and bring our ideas for the future to the surface! We will learn to design, code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO Education Spike software.

Handwriting and Fine Motor Skills Boost (May 27 – May 30)

For boys and girls going into K – 3rd grade
By using sensory activities and FUN, students will learn and practice the correct way to hold pencils and crayons for maximum control and success. We will use a variety of activities approved by occupational therapists (trained in handwriting without tears) that you can practice at camp AND at home. Students will have many brain and movement breaks throughout their mornings at camp. Students will also go home with a special pencil grip and photos that show correct posture and grip options.

| Multiply Your Skills (July 21- July 25) |

For rising 6th – 12th grade
Give your students the opportunity to multiply their math skills by working on their assigned summer math packet with an upper level math teacher. Students will have time for individual work, group work, and one-on-one help with Mrs. Floyd. If they finish their packet early, students will be provided with opportunities to get a head start practicing skills that they need to be successful in their upcoming math course. The Summer Stock Theatre Experience (May 27 – May 30)

Actors often break into professional careers through working at “summer stocks” – theatres that produce numerous full-scale productions in a very short amount of time. Experience the energy and excitement of staging, designing, and performing a full-scale theatre production in just one week! Led by Dr. Strickland, a veteran director and actor at summer stock theatres, camp participants will get a true taste of what it takes to make outstanding theatre magic quickly!

For girls and boys going into 6th – 12th grade
Unlock the power of your camera and take your photography skills to the next level! In this beginner-friendly workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of photography, including composition, lighting, exposure, and camera settings. Whether using a DSLR, mirrorless, or even a smartphone, this class will teach you how to frame the perfect shot, adjust for different lighting conditions, and tell a compelling visual story. Get hands-on experience with fun photo challenges and creative exercises designed to build confidence behind the lens.
