FPD middle school faculty work with each student to boost his or her confidence based on who they are as God's children and how they can use their unique talents to serve others. FPD's middle school equips students with healthy habits of mind, academic skills, and a godly leadership foundation as they venture into upper school education.
Grow Through Daily, Godly Mentorship
Middle school students are surrounded by godly mentors who help them grow academically and in their faith. Middle school students learn to navigate school, stand firm in their faith, and make good decisions.
Gain Higher-Level Thinking Skills
FPD middle school students develop higher-level thinking skills that go beyond memorization of facts to applying what they learn to solve new, complex problems.
Serve Others Over Self
FPD middle school students learn to lead by example. Students have opportunities to serve in the community as well as on-campus through student council, club leadership roles, and extracurricular activities.
FPD students enjoy a 1-to-1 technology program. Each student in fifth through twelfth grade receives a school-issued tablet pc on which to complete his or her assignments. Since students and teachers operate from the same devices, classes can collaborate effectively and use the devices for further study and research.
Middle School Chapel
One of the favorite parts of each week is Middle School Chapel. Students gather together for praise and worship followed by presentations on relevant topics. Speakers include guests from the community, teachers, and high school students. They speak to students on how to stand firm in their faith, grow in Christ, and best navigate the middle school years.
Middle School Sports
Middle School students can choose from an array of athletic teams to improve their athletic skills and talents under the guidance of godly coaches.
Middle School Clubs
FPD offers various middle school clubs and leadership opportunities for students to explore interests outside the classroom.
