The FPD high school Robotics team placed first at a regional qualifier on Saturday, Jan. 17 at New Creation Christian Academy in McDonough.

According to adviser Tami-Tesch Jerles, the robotics team implemented new strategies to capture the win.

We were on the winning alliance after coming from behind and being chosen by the first place team, and made it all the way through finals victoriously,” Jerles said. ” We were trying out some design changes to test them out – we learned a lot and I had prayed that the team would have teachable hearts. They really made me proud!”

Congrats to all involved in FPD Robotics!
