This past weekend we had several FPD Band members audition for All State Band. The process starts with about 15,000 students and narrows to about 700. For middle school, Austin Murray got first chair in the state! In high school, Aaron Lanning got first chair in the state on bassoon. Andrew Cerny got 2nd chair in the state on percussion. Nicholas Shealy got 5th chair, and Cooper Martin got 8th chair. Please congratulate these very fine musicians on their achievements.
