In the midst of our distance learning, FPD teachers were missing their students! In response, FPD Lower School Principal, Wade Putnal suggested a Drive Through Carpool. Families were invited to ride by the school with signs, pom poms, and lots of Viking Spirit to say “hello” (from a distance).
“I don’t know who misses whom more,” said Mrs. Putnal. “The teachers or the students.”
Dozens of cars drove by the school with excited kids and parents, as the true FPD spirit filled campus once more. One parents summed it up perfectly – “This is good for the soul!”
