Arrangement services for Austin Childers (class of 2009).

School personnel, friends and families are saddened to learn that Austin Childers (class of 2009) passed away on Wednesday night, February 26 after a long battle with mitochondrial disease.

The FPD Middle School and Middle School Principal Molly Pearson has announced a rising seventh and eighth grade parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

The FPD Upper School has announced it will conduct its winter academic assembly on Monday, February 24 during activity period.

The FPD Office of College Counseling has announced a rising freshman and sophomore parent meeting will be held on Monday, February 24 at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

First Presbyterian Day School honors senior William Roddenberry as the 2014 STAR Student. The STAR Student award is bestowed on the Senior who has the highest score on the three-part SAT on one test date taken through November of the their Senior year.

FPD boys basketball coach Michael Brooker informed players in a team meeting on Friday, February 14 that he is stepping down as head coach in order to be more available to his growing family.
