Dr. Ashley Griffin Ray ('04) graduated from the University of Georgia with a double major in Biology and Psychology. After completing medical school in 2013, Dr. Ray has many accomplishments, and is Macon's only fellowship-trained breast cancer surgeon. She practices at Coliseum Hospital. She and her husband, Heston, have two children, Evaleigh (4) and Griffin (10 months).
Given the increasing number of COVID cases in our community, the COVID-19 feedback we received from Viking Nation, and the recommendation by our FPD Medical Committee (FMC), we have decided to resume classes in a hybrid format for the first week after Christmas break.
It’s my hope that 2021 will be a time that we will give thanks together for the gifts received in 2020. The gifts we didn’t know were gifts. The gifts that in many cases were wrapped in affliction.
Combining the best of Christmas celebrations at school with Christmas celebrations at home, this year, FPD's 1st - 5th Grade Christmas program will be a virtual and interactive event that families can watch at home and participate in together.
Bradley Raybeck (’90) was recently was honored in April 2019 at Southwest Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, Texas as a recipient of the Southwest Airlines 2018 President’s Award. He was selected from a pool of 10,862 pilots as one of the two top Captains and three First Officers to receive the award.
Our attention to meeting the safest health recommendations for our students, staff, and school family means that our indoor winter sports for the 2020-21 season will require adherence to several guidelines.
